I love when someone comes along and flips something on it's head entirely. The progressions on this one leave the listener guessing what's next. It's hard to categorize this. It's electro tribal rap that makes you want to move, either to the dancefloor or just away.

This song reminds me of some early Flaming Lips, which is my favorite of them all by the way. The video has a 1950's feel to it that seems to be the collective favorite when Americans reminisce, about the days gone by.

This is all around crazy now isn't it. The vocals sound like Joan Jett's daughter just formed a new band, and the video is just straight up insane. The song's really hard to categorize which is always a big plus for me. I know it would sound good at the family reunion jumping around in my underwear and possible kicking my feet like a baby in the upside turtle position, but that's all I know.

Wow. If the new pop is a perversion of pop itself, it's still going to take a long time for others to catch up to this one. This girl is certainly not out to flatter herself with the camera angles. It makes for a funny video for a funny song. Look out Timbaland someone's coming for that number one spot.

These guys are definitely walking the line here. The vocals are almost too clean cut for this kind of music. It's like combining 80's rock vocals with 90's pop punk. Fortunately for them it really works for this one. We'll see what they drum up next.

If you don't like this song, you've never liked heavy metal and probably never will. And that's truly fine, who am I to judge. Being an old metalhead myself, I've got to bow down and raise some horns for this one. These guys have obviously studied up on the gods of metal, Motorhead. Keep up people, Motorhead was kicking this raw style back in the 80's.

How do you like your metal? For me, I probably prefer slow and churning more than anything with too much speed, it suits my personality better. I like to keep it under control, and drive straight to the point with out meandering too much. This is the type of music that I used to play in my old band, but six minutes may not have been manageable for us. If we ever stumbled across something that sounded this good, we'd have to push it up to 15 minutes. Who knows, these guys might save that for the live version. I kept on waiting for them to cheese out, but they made a tasteful guitar solo and said screw vocals, who needs them, making this metal track punk as hell.

My stomach turns at the phrase jam band. So without using that definition this band out-jams any of the hippie groups trying to imitate the grateful dead. This song takes me back to an era when every band tried to push the limits of reality with each song. I'm definitely going to be seeking out much more from these guys.

So hot. This shit just makes me want to play it over and over really loud...at every intersection for the world to hear. Can't wait to jam it driving. It's pop music made with an edge that cannot be denied. The beat is a thumping anthem electronic that could make the dance-floor at the retirement home move, OK maybe not...but still you get the idea. Then add in some sexy girl-talk rapping along the lines of M.I.A. or Santogold and your straight rolling. Hopefully Maluca can continue to create at this level. If so, there is a huge future ahead for them. If not, they can never be discredited for making something that wasn't pure genius and an instant classic.
