Dabrye - Smoking The Edge
Dabrye (pronounced "DOB-ree") is just one alias of Ghostly artist Tadd Mullinix.
This is forward thinking music complimented with forward thinking visuals. If you don't like this, you're probably old and a backward thinker. This is definitely artsier than me.

Kid Cudi vs Crookers - Day 'N' Nite
The latest single from Data Records this is Kid Cudi Vs Crookers - Day 'N' Nite!
This track is real nice and the video's pretty funny. Working jobs like that one usually pushes people to methods of escape.

Silversun Pickups - Lazy Eye
One of my favorite songs from last year. This feels like Nirvana mixed with some Smashing Pumpkins and Foo Fighters. I don't know that it is possible to grow tired of this song, it's an instant classic.

Del The Funky Homosapien - Wrong Place
This is an older gem from the funky homosapien. I think it's one pretty much everyone can relate to. Enjoy.

Beach House - Master Of None
This one has grown on me more and more every time I hear it. At first listen, I wasn't blown away, but there was something about the vocal delivery that really appealed to me. Upon further tries, I found this song to be an excellent channelling of a sort of melancholy emotion that can tend to grab you on a rainy day.

Kutiman feat. Karolina - Music Is Ruling My World
In one word awesome! Any time I come across something like this I always wonder where such talent has been hiding. Hide no more, you sweet slab of afro-funk from Tel Aviv. Tarantino should have shot Jackie Brown all grimy like this.

Pluxus - Kinoton
Pluxus is a trio from Sweden. They've got a new album out called Solid State. This song was the first I have heard from these guys and it's a good one. The video is captivating journey filled with improvised street breakdancing. It's definitely worth checking out, I hoped to hear more of this from Pluxus in the future.

The Japanese Motors - Brand New Everything
There is real hip hop,and then there is real rock. It's hard to imagine anything realer than the raw emotion put into this. This is the type of thing I can hear every night somewhere in Columbus. Sometimes those indie kids get it right. This is beer drinking fight music. God bless it!

Clutchy Hopkins Meets Roman Polanski
This track is real chillout. The music works well with the film, portraying an almost maddening calm. Dolls are kind of freaky, and this video doesn't make it any easier by burning them. There is a lot of talent wrapped up in this one. I like it.

Madlib - Beat Konducta In India
Madlib's Beat Konducta Vol. 3-4: Beat Konducta in India from Stones Throw Records.
This is what sounds like two songs from the typical Beat Konducta excursions in brevity, placed over some sampled scenes from the choreographical heaven that is India's finest films in Bollywood. But wait is some of this actually acted out specifically for this video? And who's the small one? He looks a little young to be hittin' one. Madlib continues to roll out a variety of beats and styles that can only be described as prolific. Madlib does Madwork.
